Dr. Bonkowsky Runs 100 Miles for Leukodystrophy Awareness
For much of my career, I’ve had the privilege of caring for children with neurological disorders while working to better understand the causes of leukodystrophies and develop new treatments.
My experience caring for these children and families has fueled my commitment to finding better answers.
Last year, I ran 100 miles to raise awareness for leukodystrophy, and together, we raised more than $7,000 to support leukodystrophy research in the Bonkowsky Lab.
This year, I’m doing it again!
Every mile is dedicated to the families facing these devastating diseases and to the researchers working tirelessly to find answers.
If you can, share this campaign, donate or simply follow along and cheer me on! Every bit of support helps bring more awareness and resources to leukodystrophy research.
I hope you’ll join me on this journey!
